Making choices: our days are full of them, but we still find it one of the most difficult things there is. There are different types of choices. Firstly, the small, relatively irrelevant choices of everyday life, such as: chocolate sprinkles or peanut butter on bread? Cycling or taking the metro to work? Exercising tonight or spending an evening on the couch? Secondly, the choices that we usually have to think about a little longer. Those that make our brains twitch and sometimes seem unsolvable, such as: Career change or keeping your current job? Entering the European market with your company or not? Choices have consequences and they are usually irreversible. If you choose one, you exclude the other. We sometimes find that difficult – both with 'big' and 'small' choices. Unfortunately, we still do not have a time machine at our disposal today and therefore cannot see into the future. Time will tell whether it was a good move to switch jobs. Until then, you can only hope that you made the right choice – if there can be a “right” choice at all.
To make our moments of choice a little easier, there is really only one thing to do: we need to get good at making choices. Knowing what you want, being able to act accurately and not doubting too much are essential qualities that the average decision maker must possess. Quickly jumping on your bike with a peanut butter sandwich in your hand and not thinking about how chocolate sprinkles could have tasted. That doesn't get you anywhere. And of course it sucks that you got caught in a huge downpour while cycling, but you can't always predict that in advance. Maybe take the metro again the next day. Or maybe walk to work, it's not that far. Maybe take the bus? Or carpool with a colleague? There are plenty of choices, and you know: you can only tick one answer.
Why do we always have to choose? Why don't we have chocolate sprinkles and peanut butter on our bread? Do we cycle to the metro? Or do we try to combine these two fun part-time functions? Isn't it much nicer - and easier - to keep your options open? Exactly, that's what we think too. We don't want to choose between print and digital and are convinced that a combination of both produces the best results. Research has even shown that print and digital media cannot function separately, both are essential parts of the media mix. In a video card such as the PixioCard, print and digital are cleverly integrated. Text makes it possible to give a detailed (or concise) description and the video message supports this visually. With the PixioCard so you don't have to choose between text and video, which is so easy! Whether you use the PixioCard as video brochure, company presentation of original invitation, you can be sure of one thing: choosing the PixioCard is a choice you will not regret.
