How does a video card work

A video card – also called a video brochure or PixioCard – combines the best of print and digital communication. The card contains a built-in video screen, speaker, battery and internal memory. The result: a plug & play experience that lets you make an impression in one go.

As soon as the card is opened, a magnetic sensor detects the movement. The video then starts automatically, without the need for an app, QR code or internet connection. Everything runs on the internal memory of the card.

This is how it works step by step:
1. You provide one or more videos, or let us produce them professionally.
2. We place the content directly on the internal memory of the card.
3. The recipient opens the card – the video starts playing immediately.
4. Additional options: pause, replay, volume or multiple video buttons.
